Evaluación de agentes de remojo para cueros lanares

Resumen:: Se investiga la influencia de diversos agentes de remojo sobre las propiedades químicas y físico-mecánicas del cuero ovino con lana. Los agentes enzimáticos aumentan la fijación de cromo en el cuero, y pueden mejorar las propiedades mecánicas. No se detectaron indicios de la influencia de la adición de carbonato de sodio al líquido de remojo, sobre las propiedades del cuero. SUMMARY: An investigation is carried out on the influence of several soaking additives over the chemical and physical properties of wooled sheepskins. Enzymatic agents increase chrome fixation and may improve the mechanical resistance of leather. Nevertheless, no evidence has been detected of the effect over the final properties of the leather, of the addition of sodium carbonate to the soaking liquor.
